This webpage was created to present a comparison of Daniel Keyes's "Flowers for Algernon" and Flowers for Algernon, as well as a comparison of Keyes's works and the film version Charly. This site examines Keyes's personal history and motivation to create Algernon and Charlie Gordon, the works' differences and the impacts those differences cause, and provides analysis and criticism on the short story and novel, in addition to providing several links to other relevant sites.
This website was created for the First-Year Honor Scholar Seminar 'Speculative Fiction: Science Fiction', instructed by Professor Arthur B. Evans at DePauw University.
