As previously stated, the Robot Revolution has been depicted numerous times in Science Fiction Literature. As realistic as it seems, Scientists still struggle to bring these very Robots to life. In Japan, fully functional Robots give hugs to the elderly as part of therapy, while children all over the World enjoy the fun and company of their personal Robot toys. (Wilson)

According to author Daniel Wilson, there are already both Rebellious Robot Servants, and Hostile Robots that exist today. With the continual progress that we make in technology and robotics, there is an increasing risk of an apocalyptic Robot Revolution/Rebellion.

Science Fiction works such as R.U.R., The Matrix, and I, Robot foreshadow the probablity of the future demise of our World. These stories need to be taken very seriously, as their relevancy today is more apparent than ever.
